Los británicos NITRATE nos traen una nueva obra, ya su tercer disco en liza bajo el sello, esta vez, Aor Heaven. Después de sus exitosos álbumes anteriores, en este nuevo mantienen la esencia que los caracteriza, pero con algún cambio en la formación como es la entrada del vocalista Alexander Strandell de Art Nation. Una buena apuesta, sin duda, y que agradeceremos los seguidores de esta banda, así que pasen y lean.
Abre el disco Danger Zone, su primer single, y un buen aperitivo para comenzar a disfrutar de buenas rítmicas y melódicas guitarras con un estribillo con mucho gancho y buenos coros, entra a las mil maravillas, un tema redondo.
Vamos con Renegade que da título al disco con un comienzo con buenos riffs de guitarra y un aura de teclados elegantes y muy ambientales, le dan mucha magia a esta canción, aparte de su efectivo y degustable estribillo para nuestros oídos.
Es el turno de You Think You´ve Got It que contiene mucho aroma a los Leppard, un sonido con mucho sampleado, da mucho aire a los 80 y sin duda hará las delicias de todos nosotros, los que amamos ese sonido de la década dorada de la música. Aparte ya de ser un tema de puro rock melódico 100%100 de altura.
Ahora continuamos y disfrutamos con Big City Lights un grandísimo tema, de mis favoritos del disco. Su progresión de acordes y la estructura de las armonías en el coro son realmente maravillosas. También cuenta con un buen solo de guitarra, corto, pero intenso y de calidad.
Ahora nos relajamos un poco con una balada como es Why Can´t You Feel My Love con el cual nos dejamos arrastrar por la carga emocional en la parte vocal, con mucho sentimiento por parte de Alexander que va cociendo las melodías de manera sublime. Bonitos teclados acompañan a todo el tema, de lo más destacado de esta buena balada.
Nos dejamos de sentimentalismos y vamos con un tema explosivo, Children Of The Lost Brigade, una buena ráfaga de guitarras que nos adentran en un tema más Hard rockero y que es de agradecer. Contiene un buen estribillo, bastante adictivo, para un tema cargado de mucha energía.
Seguimos con Addicted también muy en la linea “Leppard,” comercial a más no poder, con unos coros bien trabajados y unas guitarras celestiales, enamoran, quizás sea la pista que más Aor suena, es una exquisitez.
Alibi es otro de esos temas que son especiales, un cóctel de Rock melódico, musicalmente hablando, y que en lo vocal contiene un bridge y un estribillo muy rompedores. Otra pieza de muchos quilates, para el gusto de todos los Aor adictos del mundo.
Estamos llegando a la parte final del disco y seguimos disfrutando, de nuevo nos metemos de pleno en el sonido Aor con Lay Down Your Arms, una oda a la melodía: preciosas guitarras, super limpias y melódicas con una rítmica solida en cuanto a lo musical, lo bordan, y para rematar nos enfrentamos con un colosal Alexander Stradell marcando los tiempos, párrafos y melodías. Con todo ello hacen un temazo de cuidado, un medio tiempo de fábula.
Edge Of Surrender nos pone a tono, suena enérgica, de nuevo buenos detalles de teclados, fantásticos coros en el estribillo y guitarras sólidas para una canción bien rematada y con buenos argumentos.
Culmina el disco de manera colosal Take Me Back, un tema fabuloso con buenos detalles musicales. Contiene una atmósfera muy ambiental en cuanto al trabajo de teclados se refiere y detalles destacados y sutiles de guitarras, pero, y sobre todo, un halo bastante comercial con un estribillo que entra y funciona a las mil maravillas, un tema redondo.
Este trabajo de NITRATE no dejará indiferente a nadie, está bien hecho, tiene calidad y nivel, buena producción y sobre todo, lo más importante, es que vamos a disfrutar como niños con sus temas cargados de teclados mágicos, estribillos bien rematados que cogeremos a la primera escucha y que nos enamorará con ese aroma a los 80 que tanto añoramos. Muy recomendado.

The British NITRATE bring us a new work, already their third album under the label, this time, Aor Heaven. After their successful previous albums, in this new one they maintain the essence that characterizes them, but with some changes in the line-up such as the entrance of vocalist Alexander Strandell from Art Nation. A good bet, no doubt, and that we will be grateful for the followers of this band, so come in and read.
Danger Zone opens the album, their first single, and a good appetizer to begin to enjoy good rhythmic and melodic guitars with a chorus with a lot of hook and good choruses, enters to the thousand wonders, a round theme.
Let’s go with Renegade that gives title to the album with a beginning with good guitar riffs and an aura of elegant and very ambient keyboards, give a lot of magic to this song, apart from its effective and degustable chorus for our ears.

Now we continue and enjoy with Big City Lights, a great song, one of my favorites of the album. Its chord progression and the structure of the harmonies in the chorus are really wonderful. It also has a good guitar solo, short, but intense and quality.
Now we relax a little with a ballad like Why Can’t You Feel My Love with which we let ourselves be dragged by the emotional charge in the vocal part, with a lot of feeling on the part of Alexander who is cooking the melodies in a sublime way. Beautiful keyboards accompany the whole theme, the highlight of this good ballad.
We leave sentimentalism and go with an explosive theme, Children Of The Lost Brigade, a good burst of guitars that lead us into a more hard rock theme and that is to be appreciated. It contains a good chorus, quite addictive, for a theme full of energy.
We continue with Addicted also very much in the line «Leppard,» commercial to more than power, with a few well worked choruses and some heavenly guitars, fall in love, perhaps the track that sounds more Aor, is an exquisiteness.
Alibi is another one of those songs that are special, a cocktail of melodic Rock, musically speaking, and vocally contains a bridge and a chorus very groundbreaking. Another piece of many carats, for the taste of all the Aor addicts of the world.
We are reaching the final part of the album and we continue to enjoy, again we get fully into the Aor sound with Lay Down Your Arms, an ode to melody: beautiful guitars, super clean and melodic with a solid rhythmic in terms of music, they embroider it, and to top it off we are faced with a colossal Alexander Stradell marking the times, paragraphs and melodies. With all this they make a great song, a half time of fable.
Edge Of Surrender puts us in tune, sounds energetic, again good details of keyboards, fantastic chorus in the chorus and solid guitars for a song well finished and with good arguments.
It culminates the album in a colossal way Take Me Back, a fabulous theme with good musical details. It contains a very ambient atmosphere as far as the work of keyboards is concerned and outstanding and subtle details of guitars, but, and above all, a quite commercial halo with a chorus that enters and works like a charm, a rounded theme.
This work of NITRATE will not leave anyone indifferent, is well done, has quality and level, good production and above all, most importantly, is that we will enjoy like children with their songs full of magical keyboards, well finished choruses that we will catch at the first listen and that will make us fall in love with that aroma of the 80’s that we miss so much.
